Have you seen this little gem yet? Newt Gingrich said this to a church congregation. It’s so very FOX News, don’t you think? Just throw out lots of scary words, and one of them is sure to stick. Never mind that a secular, atheist country dominated by radical Islamists is exactly as possible as a bachelor who also happens to be married.
The good news, I suppose, is that the Rethuglican insanity is getting more insane. They’re not even trying to be coherent anymore. The bad news is that we can’t un-elect all the teabag nutjobs, and they’ll continue their assault on women and the economy until next election. And the odds are good that they’ll get at least a few of their draconian bills passed.
It’s a scary time to be an American. And by American, I mean someone who’s NOT one of the 400 people with half the wealth in America.
