Lead Them Into Temptation

Want to have fun making God angry at Christians? Here’s a simple trick:

2 John 1:9-11

9Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

A lot of Christians don’t seem to know it, but the holy perfect word of God commands them to refuse entry into their house to any non-Christian.  The implications of this commandment are really fun.  Not only must Christians never allow their non-Christian peers into the house, but they need to do a thorough background check on the plumber and the cable guy, too.

And now that I’m reading this passage again, I’m noticing there’s no exception granted for ignorance.  If you don’t ask, and your guest doesn’t tell, it’s still a transgression.

I really wish more Christians would actually follow their own holy book.  It would make them look a lot crazier.
